The COVID-19 situation is an unprecedented disruption to the normal course of our daily lives, and we are closely monitoring the situation. However, it does not change our professional commitment to serving our clients’ needs, while also safeguarding the health and well-being of our staff.
The Ontario Government has designated Real Estate law to be an Essential Service. We therefore remain fully functional as your full-service Law Firm, even though our St. Clair W. offices are closed to the public (except by pre-arranged appointment).  Our staff are working remotely, from the safety of their homes. We have taken the needed technological and procedural steps to ensure that we can provide all the usual legal services, while still maintaining client confidentiality. The Registry Offices remain open, and real estate closings and related transactions continue as scheduled.
Since the safety of our clients and of our staff is our uppermost concern, we proudly advise as follows:
- We can be reached in the usual manner using telephone, by email and by fax. We continue to commit to our usual timely response rate.
- We can accommodate “virtual” meetings using video conferencing, by pre-arrangement.
- We can still arrange for in-person meetings by advance arrangement, with adjustments made for physical-distancing measures as recommended by Public Health Officials.
